2007 Club USA Selections:

SELECTION CRITERIA: We base it off of your performance during the season. With a network of coaches all over the nation, we are able to see you play in various tournament and also at Nationals. Your selection to this is an HONOR as we look for the TOP players in the nation playing club. These selected ladies will participate in an tournament in St. Thomas, USVI over Labor Day weekend.

WHAT IS CLUB USA?

Club USA is an amazing venture! It started back about 4-5 years ago when we took a small number of players from Colorado State, Chico, and Missouri and went and played in a tournament down in the Virgin Island in St. Thomas over Labor Day weekend....

It was an amazing time. After that, we had the idea of bring pure "all star" teams down there to play in this tournament. We wanted to go some of the stronger players we see around at tournaments, and form a strong team and compete. At the same time, the players LOVED getting to compete with players from other teams in such a environment.

....and it took off! We where building strong teams, and the time down there just got more and more amazing. You don't go down there just for volleyball, so we make sure that we spent a lot of time doing things you would do in St. Thomas (AKA "Paradise").

Words can't explain it, nor can pictures. It is proof due to the large number of people that have went that ASK TO GO BACK!!!! We limit it to a maximum of a total of 2 years of playing for CLUB USA. However, this year, due to popular demand, we will attempt to have an CLUB USA ALUMNI team made up of players who are no longer eligible for the regular teams, but still want to go down there and play.

We have had players from a wide selection of schools (Illinois, Grand Valley, Chico,  Missouri, Kansas, Marquette, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, Colorado State, Elon, Appalachian State, Penn State, USD, USC, San Diego State, Kentucky, and plenty others

It is simple to be eligible: You need to have played for your club team for this past season that just ended a few weeks ago. Graduating seniors are eligible! It will take place over Labor Day Weekend. Practice will be that Friday, we will play Sat/Sun, and Monday is a travel date back home.
